Featured Makers for April

For April, We would like to introduce our first two featured makers….
Michelle Dawson.
Michelle studied Illustration in Bath and went on to train to be a teacher in Brighton. She moved to Worthing in 2001 and has made drawings of local seaside scenes ever since.
After working as an Art teacher at a local secondary school she went on to teach adults drawing and watercolour skills before taking some time out to raise her children. The last few years she has been busy exhibiting and illustrating again and teaches drawing and painting classes at Studio Freer at East Beach Studios, Worthing.
Michelle loves to get out and about sketching gardens, allotments and the seafront and her favourite medium is dip pen and ink. She has developed a series of limited edition prints based on her favourite drawings and many images are also available as cards.
